We had a fantastic night at Gate 11 Distillery! After all eight songwriters performed two songs and we voted, these four returned to do one more: Jack Endelouz, Grizzly Fowler, Joylene, and Heidi Kalua. After the final round of voting the two that took home the prizes were: Heidi Kalua and Grizzly Fowler!
Hi, I’m a singer, songwriter, and preforming artist born and raised about 30min north of Chattanooga TN in Sequatchie county. I have a love for all types and genres of music and like to think that reflects into my songs.

Heidi Kalua: Born in California, raised in Chattanooga with Hawaiian blood. A Johnny Cash and Leann Rimes loving kid that moved to Vegas and fell in love with live looping and Australian music. Heidi loves to make music of all kinds of sound. Mixing genres and playing multiple instruments with a focus on electric guitar. Music has been a way of life for Heidi since she was a kid, playing with her grandad and sleeping on the floor while the band practiced. She has inherited much from her roots and it shows in her sound.
Ida York is an imaginative singer songwriter who creates unique stories presented as a folksy Americana that is as melodic as it is meaningful. She is a sultry alto, lyrically reminiscent of Leonard Cohen.
Joylene is an Americana singer songwriter who loves being a part of the local music scene in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is inspired by female singer songwriters and loves folk rock music. When not playing music, Joylene spends time as a marriage and family therapist passionate about the recovery community. These themes are a part of her songwriting and she often expresses gratitude for music and the healing gift music is.
Jack Endelouz came from Memphis to Chattanooga years ago and brought with him his unique blend of Rock n Roll and Rhythm and Blues music. Jack has written music for multiple bands and his latest release is from his band endelouz and is titled “Orpheus Emerged” and is available everywhere online.
